To mark the 225th anniversary of the death of the great Theobald Wolfe Tone, this month’s addition to The Connolly Archive is ‘The Men we Honour - Wolfe Tone’, first published in The Worker’s Republic on the 13th of August, 1898 - the centenary year of the United Irishmen rebellion.
Saturday the 11th of November saw Éirígí and the 1916 Societies host a joint public meeting entitled ‘225 Years after 1798 - Where Now for Republicanism?’, which took place in the Teacher’s Club in Dublin City.
